We all have our own Road to Bethlehem — a journey shaped by life’s joys, challenges, and quiet moments of becoming. This road reconnects us to remembrance of what is holy and sacred to our hearts, inviting us to walk with intention, wonder, and faith.
As children, we are born into wonder — carrying imagination, hope, and a sense of limitless possibility. The true meaning of the Christmas story echoes this innocence, reminding us that joy and faith are not meant to fade as life unfolds. Each of us carries a light — a desire to create, to shine, and to bring hope into the world. Like lanterns along a darkened road, we are guided forward not only for ourselves, but for those seeking refuge, comfort, and encouragement. Christ was born to bring everlasting light, and we, too, walk our own roads with that same invitation to hope.The Road to Bethlehem is not always easy. It stretches us beyond what we think we can bear, yet it also deepens our understanding, softens our hearts, and strengthens our capacity for love. A Tribute Of Sacred Songs
Music was not just something my dad, Mel Memmott, performed — it was something he lived. He would often break into song while working around the house, filling our home with wonder and joy.
Over the years, Mel shared his voice in countless settings — reunions, weddings, birthday parties, funerals, and community and church events — offering comfort, celebration, and connection through music.
I was honored to accompany my dad on the piano during many of his performances, creating moments that remain some of my most treasured memories. My mother, Nancy, often shared that she fell in love with his voice, and she remained his greatest supporter throughout his life.
These recordings are shared here in loving tribute — a reflection of the joy, devotion, and peace his music brought into our home and into the lives of others.
May his voice continue to bring comfort, wonder, and light.
